Chromium Browser Install

Die instruksies is soos volg:

• Uninstall die Chrome browser
• download en install die

• Disable Chrome Auto-Updates:
  
  

Here are the steps to disable automatic updates for the Google Chrome browser:

1.       Bring up the Run dialog box via Windows + R shortcut keys.

2.       Type in msconfig command, and hit OK button.
This will open the Microsoft System Configuration window.

3.       Switch the Services tab and uncheck the Hide all Microsoft Services option situated at the bottom left.

4.       Next, uncheck both the Google Update Service (gupdate) and Google Update Service (gupdatem) options.

5.       Finally, Hit on Apply > OK to close the window. and

6.       Restart your PC to make these changes effective.

  1. Press Win + R to open the Run box, then type "cmd" and hit Enter to open it.
  2. Press Win + X (or right-click the Start button) and choose Command Prompt from the menu
  3. Use the command prompt to set the following environment variables to "no":
     setx GOOGLE_API_KEY "no"
     setx GOOGLE_DEFAULT_CLIENT_ID "no"
     setx GOOGLE_DEFAULT_CLIENT_SECRET "no"
